Sovereign Treaty Operations
IHRI operates two state-endorsed alliances in the Republic of Benin. These treaties provide the raw field data and sovereign labs required for the Institute's high-stakes Biosecurity and Agri-Defense research.
UNSTIM (Benin)
Biological Security HubA government-backed alliance with Benin's National STEM university. UNSTIM serves as the primary data node for **Unit 01 (Bio-Risk & Genomics)**, facilitating joint research into pathogen surveillance and molecular biosecurity standards across West Africa.
UNA (Benin)
Food Sovereignty HubThe National University of Agriculture (UNA) Ketou operates as the sovereign lead for IHRI's **Unit 04 (Resource Sovereignty)**. This alliance focuses on Agri-Defense: engineering climate-resilient supply chains, zoonotic source prevention, and ECOWAS food reserve logistics.
