Assessment Rigour & Quality Assurance

IHRI maintains strict adherence to our approved Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) framework. All academic assessments, including doctoral defenses, are subject to robust internal and external quality assurance protocols.

Official Grading Framework

To ensure transparency and international transferability, IHRI utilizes the standardized grading matrix approved within our IQA policy. A minimum grade of 'D' or 'D*' (50%) is required to pass standard modules.

  • A (80% - 100%) Work of excellent quality
  • B (70% - 79%) Work of very good quality
  • C (55% - 69%) Work of good quality
  • D (50% - 54%) Work of fair but below average quality
  • D* (50%) Max grade following re-assessment
  • E (45% - 49%) Work of marginal quality
  • F (0% - 45%) Unsatisfactory, failing work

P: Pass when assessment is based on a pass/fail basis (e.g., Doctoral Thesis).

I: Temporary grade for Incomplete work due to justifiable reasons.

W: Approved withdrawal of the registration on a programme or module.

Academic Integrity & Digital Governance

IHRI operates a zero-tolerance policy regarding academic fraud. All research is supported and verified through a secure, enterprise-grade digital ecosystem and Student Information System (SIS).

Plagiarism Detection

We utilize advanced detection software featuring real-time, cross-database search technology. Any similarity report exceeding a 25% detection rate triggers an immediate internal investigation to verify attribution.

Ethical Use of AI

We encourage the transparent, accountable, and responsible use of validated Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in scholarly workflows. AI must support the research process, not replace the candidate's critical thinking and original analysis.
